Pulsar Audio Library — Eleven Analogue-Modelled Processors for Mix, Vocal and Master Chains

Original price was: €490.00.Current price is: €79.99.

Eleven processors, one coherent analogue-leaning toolkit. The Pulsar Audio bundle covers the whole finishing chain for a cue — four approaches to EQ, four to compression, a dedicated vocal studio, a magnetic-disk delay and a six-way spring reverb — with lifetime updates included.

Description

Finishing a score mix usually means reaching for the same handful of moves: shape the master, glue the orchestra bus, settle the vocal or soloist, then add one or two character effects for depth. The Pulsar Audio Complete Bundle organises eleven analogue-inspired processors around exactly those jobs, so the whole chain can be built inside one developer’s ecosystem, with one licensing model and one way of working.

Four Equalisers, Four Compressors

Frequency shaping is covered from several directions. Pulsar 8200 is a precise parallel EQ aimed particularly at master-bus work; MP-EQ takes a passive analogue-style approach for mixing and mastering; W495 offers a three-band design for quick, musical tonal decisions; and Poseidon adapts a console-inspired EQ to modern DAW workflows. Dynamics are equally varied. VM-COMP is a tube compressor and limiter for musical control and mix-bus glue, 1178 brings a fast FET character with additional saturation stages, Smasher pursues a more aggressive modified 1176-style circuit, and IPA 25 is a multi-VCA processor with selectable circuit topologies and modern features layered on top. Moving between them is a practical education in compression character: the same string stem or drum bus can be glued gently, driven hard, or clamped for effect without leaving the bundle.

Vocals and Character Effects

Pulsar Vocal Studio gathers a multi-stage vocal workflow into a single plug-in, replacing the usual stack of separate processors when a song, a featured vocal or a narrated element has to sit in front of a score quickly. The two creative pieces broaden the palette further. Echorec models the magnetic-disk echo associated with the classic Binson-style design, sitting somewhere between delay, reverb and saturation — a natural fit for melodic motifs that need to smear into the atmosphere. Primavera is a six-in-one spring reverb with saturation, filtering, presence and ducking controls, useful for anything from period-flavoured cues to modern productions that want spring character without spring chaos.

Requirements, Formats and Licence Terms

The bundle runs on Windows 10 and 11 in 64-bit form and on macOS 10.11 or later, including Apple Silicon from M1 through M5. Formats are AAX Native, Audio Units, VST 2.4 and VST 3, all 64-bit, for use inside a third-party DAW such as Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton Live, REAPER, GarageBand or FL Studio. Minimum requirements are modest: 4 GB of RAM, 1 GB of free disk space, an OpenGL 2.0-compatible GPU and a 1024 by 768 display, with 1920 by 1080 recommended. The licence is a lifetime one with no subscription, free lifetime updates are included, and a full-feature 14-day trial lets you run the complete versions across a real project before deciding.

The practical strength of a single-developer bundle shows up over a long production. Cues mixed across eleven Pulsar processors share a design language, so moving from the 8200 on the master to the W495 on a stem, or from VM-COMP’s gentle tube glue to the 1178’s faster grip on a percussion bus, feels like changing settings on one large console rather than learning eleven unrelated tools. That coherence also helps when a director asks for revisions weeks later: reopen the session and every stage of the original chain is still present, in a form you remember how to operate. Vocal-forward cues benefit most obviously, with Vocal Studio centralising a job that otherwise sprawls across a dozen inserts, while Echorec and Primavera supply the unmistakably analogue spatial colour that stock DAW effects rarely reproduce convincingly. Taken together, the collection covers correction, cohesion and character — the three jobs nearly every finished score mix asks of its processors, in roughly that order.

Eleven processors also means eleven fewer separate purchases, licences and update routines to administer across a studio’s machines — a mundane advantage that matters during a production.
