Toontrack Complete Bundle – Superior Drummer 3, EZkeys 2, EZbass and EZmix 3 Songwriting Suite

Not every cue begins with an orchestra. Songs, source music, pop cues and much of television scoring begin with a rhythm section, and the Toontrack Complete Bundle is built to supply one at studio standard. It brings together Toontrack’s flagship products — drums, bass, keys and mixing tools — alongside an extensive library of MIDI grooves, EZX and SDX expansions and sound packs. The suite is used across rock, EDM, metal, hip-hop, jazz and cinematic work, and it is designed so that a songwriter can move from an idea to a professional-grade arrangement without hiring the band first.

Drums: Superior Drummer 3 and EZdrummer 3

Superior Drummer 3 is the industry-standard drum engine of the pair, with over 230GB of multi-sampled sounds, advanced mic bleed and audio-to-MIDI conversion — the deep, engineer-grade instrument for productions where the kit must survive close scrutiny. EZdrummer 3 takes the songwriter’s route: mix-ready kits, genre-based presets and an intuitive layout that gets a convincing performance under a song quickly. Owning both means the same production can start in the fast instrument and migrate to the deep one, and the bundle adds dozens of EZX expansions — genre-tailored packs including Rock, Metal, Jazz, Pop and EDM — plus deep-sampled SDX expansions for Superior Drummer recorded in legendary studios. Toontrack MIDI packs of professionally performed drum grooves complete the picture, so parts can be built from real performances rather than drawn grids.

Bass, Keys and the EZmix Finishing Layer

EZbass is described as groundbreaking virtual bass software, with realistic articulations, groove tracking and sound-shaping options, and its MIDI expansions supply pre-arranged bass grooves across multiple genres — crucially, grooves designed to interact with the drum parts rather than merely coexist with them. EZkeys 2 Complete provides virtual piano and keyboard instruments with songwriting tools and MIDI packs for authentic performance, supported by a huge library of EZkeys MIDI patterns across classical, jazz, rock, pop and cinematic styles. EZmix 3 is the mixing and mastering suite, with over 500 presets covering vocals, guitars, drums and full mixes, plus preset packs with signature tones designed by world-class producers and engineers. For a composer delivering songs or source cues, EZmix is the fast route from arrangement to a presentable, client-ready mix.

Workflow for Songwriters and Media Composers

The bundle’s working method is groove-led. Start from a professionally performed MIDI performance for drums, bass or keys, adapt it to the song, and let the instruments supply the realism: mic bleed in the drums, articulations in the bass, performed phrasing in the keys. The interface design is beginner-friendly while remaining deep enough for professionals, a balance the source material emphasises and that matters for composers who are expert writers but not specialist drum programmers. The bundle is cross-platform for Windows and macOS and works with all major DAWs, and the licensing facts are generous and clear: licenses allow two installs per user, and lifetime free updates for all products are included according to the bundle specification.
